The Sunshine Coast used to be considered the younger, less important sibling compared to Brisbane and sometimes even the Gold Coast. However, things have changed, and the reality is that the Sunshine Coast is now growing quickly and doing better than our state’s capital.
According to a recent report by BIS Oxford Economics, they predict that over the next three years, the average house price on the Sunshine Coast will increase by 19% to $986,000. This growth is expected to outpace Brisbane, which is predicted to grow by 18%. The report attributes this faster growth to the recent rapid increase in population on the Sunshine Coast.
