2016 is pegged to be a peak year for the Sunshine Coast economy. CBRE’s (Commercial Real Estate Services) most recent report shows the coast is in early stages of recovery with the region’s economic growth at its strongest in six years at 3.9%.
CBRE has negotiated more sales in the past six months than the six years previous from the time of the GFC. Commercial vacancies are at 11.9% down from 20% in 2010. This is the lowest in SE Qld including Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
