While the rest of Queensland is seeing housing approvals drop, the Sunshine Coast is bucking the trend.
The Coast had 4693 starts in the past 12 months, compared to 4568 the previous year.
In May 2019, 474 homes were approved on the Coast up 86% from the previous year.
