Should I buy my home now or wait until the end of the year?

Key points:

• Where are you looking to buy your home?  Some areas will have bigger price drops than others. ie markets where there a high number of investment properties, those areas where the main industries are tourism and education - as these sectors are struggling.
• Have a good look at your financial situation with regards to employment and potential loss of income.
• If you are Selling and Buying it is best to do it in the same depressed market.
